Most recently from Flowers Vineyard and Winery on the Sonoma Coast, Bjornstad and La Follette have worked together for a number of years, starting together as students at UC Davis in the late 1980’s. After making wine and growing vines for other labels, “the Gregs” have teamed up again, this time for their own effort. That effort is our passionate desire to handcraft delicious, unctuous, desirable wines that they love to make. They spare no expense in this effort as they procure the finest grapes available, as we “raise” (as in children) in elevage (French for “winemaking”) the maturing wine and as we gently capture the essence of time and place in bottle.
Greg & Greg have joined forces again in their new winery venture, Tandem. Their combined skills and the synergy in their friendship provide Bjornstad the continuing opportunity to nurture the process from grape to bottle as vineyardist and winemaker for Tandem.
