Barbara and Timothy Spelletich decided to enter the wine industry in 1994 after trials of Cabernet Sauvignon from the 1993 vintage actually tasted like wine. A short while later, we were offered for purchase some Chardonnay grapes from an established vineyard in the Carneros District of Napa Valley. We bought new barrels, bungs, a refractometer and some boots. We had "caught the bug". Barbara (O'Connell) Spelletich has been in the wine industry for 25 years.
