Martin Ray was a legendary winemaker who was a pioneer in establishing 100% varietal wines in California. He also led the way in developing the now famous hillside vineyards of the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Today, the winery is owned by Courtney Benham, who honors the heritage of Martin Ray with his commitment to sourcing premium wine grapes from hillside vineyards in Santa Cruz, Napa, Mendocino and Sonoma Counties.
